The EHESS Archives are part of EHESS central services. Their role is to collect, catalogue, preserve, provide access to, communicate and promote EHESS institutional and research archives.
In accordance with the (French) law on archives, once the public archives have been sorted, catalogued, restored and treated for conservation, they will be transferred to the (French) National Archives in Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, where they will remain.
Certain routinely consulted collections of historic interest are currently held on site. Access is possible, on appointment, through EHESS archive services.
