EHESS / ENS / CNRS - Institut Jean Nicod Library

Description

The Institut Jean-Nicod Library,  was established in 2002 along with the Institut, a joint EHESS-ENS-CNRS multidisciplinary research center. It is located on the first floor of the Pavillon Jardin, accessible from the École normale supérieure entrance at 29, rue d’Ulm 75005 Paris. 

The IJN library is dedicated to analytic philosophy and the cognitive sciences, with the human mind and the nature of representations (linguistic, mental, and social) as its unifying theme. 

Access terms

The library is open on request to all researchers and interested lectors. Lectors who are not members of the Institut Jean Nicod are welcome, but are restricted to on-site consultation . To access the library, outside lectors must make an appointment by contacting Sophie Bilardello (sophie.bilardello@ens.fr).

Lending terms

Library loans are reserved exclusively for lectors who are members of the Institut Jean Nicod.
