The EPHE Christian and Byzantine collection, known as the Gabriel Millet photo library, after its founder, is an early 19th century historic archive. The collection, comprises approximately 40,000 glass plate photographs and over 100,000 prints, as well as architectural surveys, watercolor illustrations, castings of ivory, architectural models, letters, and publications bequeathed by Gabriel Millet.
The photo library is open to graduate students Master's and above, PhD fellows, faculty and researchers. By appointment only.
